The Orcades is well situated on Esplanade Road which is the level and on the seafront only a few yards from the beach and near to the harbour, pier and festival theatre.

The Orcades Hotel is family run with a lift that serves two floors. All bedrooms are with private facilities, including tea/coffee making facilities and a colour television. Evening entertainment is held two or three nights weekly in the spacious bar lounge incorporating a dance floor. The hotel also has a separate lounge with magnificent sea views of the bay.
