The Oban hotel is a traditional
thirty-bedroom Victorian establishment, privately run with a wonderful
relaxed family atmosphere. There is a large but cosy lounge with
a fully licensed bar which offers a variety of live 
entertainment most evenings, the Grand Piano being a favourite amongst
guests. Bingo, quizzes and fun games can also be arranged.
The Compton Restaurant
was newly refurbished in January 2006 and can accommodate up to
fifty-five diners. At this hotel you can indulge in a variety of
delicious traditional dishes for breakfast and evening meals. Situated
on seafront opposite the Wish Tower. Early booking is recommended
for August date as the air show that takes place right outside the
OBAN HOTEL on the opposite side of the road.
There is a lift at this
hotel however some rooms may involve stairs.
